Consent items:
Minutes of the September 2009 Town Council meeting minutes were approved by general consent with addition that there was a Public Hearing on Town Budget for 2009-2010 before the called Town Council Meeting.
The Treasurer's report was given by Secr. Barbara Stevenson for October 2009 and approved by general consent allowing for changes for new budget.

Item 1. Pat Fowler gave report on Park meeting and possible uses for remaining grant funds. She also presented question about ordinance as to operation hours and signs. There was general discussion about upgrading Town Hall. Volunteer committee was appointed to create a plan.
At present this committee would include Jeff Herbst, Jeff Schmidt, Pat Monson, Pat Fowler, Jack Shain, and Judy Parmelee.

Road work maintenance/repair due to weather was $1250.

Item 2. There was general discussion concerning lighting issues and types of electrical lines.

Item 3. Judy Parmelee presented National Night Out award information. New Hope tied with a Wylie community for first place. Ms. Parmelee read her report as presented to the National Night Out National Committee.

Future meeting dates were read.
