Consent items:
Minutes of the September 2007 Town Council meeting minutes were approved by general consent. The Treasurer's Report was given by Ald. Pat Monson. Ald. Monson announced that she is in the middle of a transition to a new computer and also was switching to new software online with Quick Books. The Treasurer's monthly report was not yet complete due to these updates.

Item 1. Gene Fowler gave the Park Department report on the Town of New Hope's Park. The second grant has been received. Town citizens and the Boy Scouts planted approximately 300 plants on Work Day. A few things to be considered that were not included in the Grant: grading for water drainage from the parking lot. Phase I is finished. Steel is ordered for the bridges. Bids will be received for building the shelter and other parts of the Park. Congratulations to the Brezsky's who were appointed to the Park Committee even as they participated in Work Day.

Item 2. Concerning Junk Vehicles. Most citizens have complied and removed junk vehicles. For those remaining vehicles - court actions will begin.

Item 3. There is a vacant Alderman position on the New Hope Town Council. No action has been taken.

Item 4. Atty. Rapier presented information concerning Town of New Hope Cultural & Education Facilities Finance Corporation and other information for Council review. Resolution was presented for adoption. Motion was made by Ald. Pat Monson to adopt resolution. Motion was seconded by Ald. Bob. Parmelee. Motion adopted.

Item 5: This action was not necessary. Town Council was appointed as Board of Directors.

Item 6: Announced meeting dates: November 20th for Roads & Parks, P&Z meeting cancelled, and November 27th for Town Council.
