A regular monthly meeting of the Town of New Hope Board of Aldermen/Town Council was held on Tues., November 25, 2008, in the New Hope Town Hall. It was called to order at 7:34 p.m. by Ald. Pat Monson. Also present were Ald. Bill Sommers, Ald. Bob Parmelee, Ald. Jeff Herbst, Ald. Gene Fowler, Atty. John Rapier, and Town Secretary Barbara Stevenson. Absent was Mayor Johnny Hamm. Five citizens were present.

Consent items:
Minutes of the October 2008 Town Council meeting minutes were approved by general consent. The Treasurer's report was given by Secr. Barbara Stevenson for November and was approved by general consent.

Item 1. Public Works. Pat Fowler gave the report on New Hope Town Park funds. She distributed a copy of original grant application and discussed original proposed costs and current costs. There was discussion concerning which items to finish out on the grant for the year including committed Town funds. Recommendation was given to focus on benches and tables or basketball court. There was also some discussion concerning connecting parks and trails.

Item 2. December Town Council meeting is cancelled. Announced tentative meeting dates: Roads & Parks is January 20, 2009, P&Z meeting is January 22, 2009, and Town Council Meeting is January 27, 2009.
