A regular monthly meeting of the Town of New Hope Board of Aldermen/Town Council will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the New Hope Town Hall, 121 Rockcrest Rd., in accordance with the following:

Call to order, Roll call.
Consent items; Minutes of previous meeting(s), Treasurer's report(s).
Item 1. Discuss and take appropriate action on any proposal from the Public Works Commission, including expenditures necessary for road/street repair/maintenance, and park development. Nominate/appoint new committee members as necessary.
Item 2. Discuss and take appropriate action concerning upcoming elections. Mayor and two alderman positions are up for reelection in May 2012. (Tony Lane - 1 year term), Bob Parmelee, and Mayor Hamm)
Item 3. Discuss and take appropriate action concerning the repeal of Ordinance 2003-____ which established the Public Works Commission.
Item 4. Discuss and take appropriate action regarding Ordinance 2012-001, abolishing Planning & Zoning Committee and authorizing Town Council to oversee Planning and Zoning matters.
Item 5. Announce tentative meeting dates: Roads & Parks is February 21, 2012, P&Z meeting is February 23, 2012, and Town Council Meeting is February 28, 2012.
Future agenda items: Regular monthly items, tabled items.

THE COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ENTER INTO AN EXECUTIVE SESSION PURSUANT TO SUBCHAPTER D OF CHAPTER 551 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE.
